Macquarie Korea Infrastructure Fund (the Fund) is engaged in the investment of infrastructure assets in Korea. The Fund manages a portfolio of Korea's infrastructure assets consisting of 12 toll-roads, one subway line and one marine terminal port. invests in concession companies that construct and operate infrastructure assets such as expressways, subway lines and bridges, which are constructed under the Private Participation in Infrastructure Act (PPI Act). The Fund invests in these concession companies through equity and debt and aims to deliver returns to the shareholders. The asset manager of the Fund is Macquarie Shinhan Infrastructure Asset Management Co., Ltd. The sales agents are Shinhan Investment Corp., Macquarie Securities Korea, Ltd., Hanwha Securities Co., Ltd., Samsung Securities Co., Ltd., Tong Yang Securities Inc. and Kyobo Securities Co., Ltd. On June 27, 2012, the Company completed the sale of its 85% stake in Korea Road Infrastructure Investment Company.
