COWAY CO., LTD, formerly Woongjin Coway Co. Ltd., is a Korea-based company mainly engaged in the provision of water purifiers. The Company's products portfolio consists of water purifiers, air purifiers, electronic bidets, non-electronic bidets, water softeners, vacuum cleaners, food waste treatment and water waste treatment solutions. Its water purifiers include free standing, counter top and under sink types. Its air purifiers are applied in offices and other places. The Company distributes its products within domestic market and to overseas markets, including China, Japan, Thailand, Malaysia, Italy and America. On January 2, 2013, Woongjin Holdings Co Ltd sold entire 28.37% stake in the Company and Coway Holdings, Inc. acquired 30.90% stake in the Company. After the transaction, Coway Holdings, Inc. and 20 other related parties became the largest shareholder of the Comapny, replacing Woongjin Holdings Co Ltd and 29 other investors.
