ILJIN ELECTRIC CO.,LTD is a Korea-based company mainly engaged in the manufacture of electrical wires. The Company operates its business through three divisions: electrical wire division, which provides bare copper wires, bare aluminum wires, power wires, insulated wires and telecommunication cables; electricity system division, provides power heavy electric equipment, such as transformers, safety enclosed switches and distribution boards, and industrial equipment, including pumps and motors, as well as other division, which provides lighting products and diesel particulate filters. On December 31, 2011, the Company completed the merger with its wholly owned subsidiary, Initus Co., Ltd., mainly engaged in the radio frequency identification (RFID) system integration business.
