Founder of the Ankle and Foot Institute of Texas, Dr. Matthew Cerniglia, is a board certified Foot and Ankle Surgeon. Dr. Cerniglia is certified in Foot Surgery and Reconstructive Rear Foot and Ankle Surgery by The American Board of Podiatric Surgery. He completed his undergraduate studies at Texas A&M University and furthered his post-graduate training at Dr. William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine graduating Cum Laude. He later completed a highly intensive two-year surgical residency at Hillcrest Health Center in Oklahoma City, OK one of the countries leading Podiatric medical training facilities.
Dr. Cerniglia and his staff are dedicated to using the latest research and advanced technology to deliver complete ankle and foot care to people throughout the Dallas/Fort Worth area. In addition, they are equally committed to providing world-class medical care paired with hometown service coupled with a passion for treating all foot and ankle conditions with the main goal being to help people of all ages recover and return to their active lifestyles.
