I love all things wedding-related, I adore hearing my clients' love stories, and I am still giddy before each wedding day. I'm pretty sure I've cried at every wedding I've ever had the pleasure of attending! Watching the magic of all the planning unfold and capturing the moments; it is a thrill and a blessing. I get to be with people on the happiest days of their lives and I get to call this "work!" Emmy Jay is actually my heart and soul. This company is collectively named after my daughters: Maggie, Emilee, and Josslyn. (M-E-J). These girls are my heartbeats and without them this company and my love for photography would not have blossomed into what it is. I started my professional career as a high school English teacher and it wasn't until Maggie made me a mommy, and I had the full support of my personal Prince Charming that I had the courage to take the leap from teacher to professional photographer. I started a company with my twin sister and we learned so much in such a short time and had a blast doing it.
