Ricardo Rivas-Plata, MD, practices internal medicine. Dr. Rivas-Plata earned his medical degree from Albany Medical College in New York. He completed his internship and residency at UC Irvine Medical Center. Prior to graduation from medical school, he worked for the LA County Department of Health as an HIV counselor and collected HIV-related data for the first county-wide assessment of the disease. In addition to English, Dr. Rivas-Platas speaks fluent Spanish.
