Dr. Takos opened his practice in Astoria NY in 1995 with the philosophy 'If I won't perform a procedure on my own family, I won't perform it on anyone.' Dr. Takos decided early in his career to have a practice based on quality and individual attention rather than volume. Dr. Takos is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry, the Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the Academy of Laser Dentistry, the World Clinical Laser Institute, the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Honor Society and the Hellenic Dental Society.
