Hector Tamez Aguilar, MD received his medical degree from the Universidad Panamericana in Mexico City. He completed his residency at the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center / Harvard Medical School in Boston as well as cardiology, interventional cardiology and CHIP fellowships. Dr. Tamez is board-certified in Cardiovascular Disease and Interventional Cardiology and has been practicing medicine for 9 years. His special interests include complex percutaneous coronary intervention, chronic total occlusion percutaneous coronary intervention and hemodynamic support. In his spare time, Dr. Tamez enjoys cave diving, photography (hectortamez.com) and meeting people from many cultures while traveling.
