Dr. Kensinger is a multi-organ, abdominal transplant surgeon. He earned his medical degree from University of Virginia School of Medicine after completing his undergraduate studies in chemistry at Washington and Lee University, graduating Magna Cum Laude. He completed his general surgery residency at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, and his abdominal transplant surgery fellowship at the University of Wisconsin Hospital and Clinics. In addition, he completed a critical care fellowship at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. Dr. Kensinger has received numerous teaching and clinical awards throughout his training.
