Total Home Care of Georgia, Inc. was founded in 1984 by Don and Holly Chute in Atlanta. In 1990, while working for himself, Maury Benamy began his association with Total Home Care of Georgia, Inc., and for the next 15 years, would often assist Don and Holly with some of their jobs. During that time both Maury and the Chutes formed a strong bond while working within the International Window Cleaning Association to better the industry. In 2004 Maury and John Stembel purchased Total Home Care of Georgia, Inc. from the Chutes. Total Home Care of Georgia, Inc. was formed by combining the customer databases of the two companies. In 2006, Maury became the sole owner of Total Home Care of Georgia, Inc. John Stembel remains on the operations side of the business. In 2008, Total Home Care of Georgia, Inc., Inc purchased Bob Cox Window and Gutter Cleaning to further increase the customer base. In the fall of 2012, we were happy to announce acquiring the employees and customer base of Mr. Clean & Shine.
