The Security and Sustainability Guide is a not-for-profit effort to map and explore the contours of the massive system of organizations concerned with security and sustainability, as broadly defined, whose mission includes clear statements of concern for the public interest. It is both an (always incomplete) encyclopedia and classification of these organizations and an ambitious effort to keep track of their activities by covering their reports, their media activities, and their evolution and initiatives. The Guide also looks forward to the day when it will convene activists from these organization to explore common issues from a perspective that explores the intersectionality of the nested connection between security and sustainability.
