Richard S. Hoehn, MD, joined University Hospitals as a surgical oncologist in the Division of Surgical Oncology, UH Seidman Cancer Center, in September 2021. Dr. Hoehn’s clinical expertise includes the treatment of patients with metastatic colorectal and appendix cancer, and he leads the Hepatic Artery Infusion Pump and HIPEC programs at UH Seidman Cancer Center. Board-certified in general surgery and complex general surgical oncology, Dr. Hoehn has served on multiple professional committees aimed at advancing the science and practice of surgery. His research interests include socioeconomic disparities in cancer care and outcomes, surgical quality and sustainability at safety-net hospitals, and healthcare policy and reform.
