As many of you may know, I am part of an organization - Hogs for the Cause - that delivers grants to families who have a child undergoing cancer (or any illness) treatment. The grants are to help ease some of the financial stress these families are under during an extremely difficult time. The team I am a part of fundraises all year in an effort to make an impact. As a small business owner, I have the pleasure of supporting my community in various ways. This year I was one of the top sponsors for my team, Bark & Bite, to help us reach our goal. We raised over $225,000 - I can still hardly believe it - that will go directly to Hogs and to families. Blessed to be a part of a friend group who is so invested in this cause and in our community.
