"Born and raised in the Dominican Republic, Dr. Lopez originally graduated with a MD from the Universidad Autonoma de Santo Domingo in 1996. After a short time in practice Dr. Lopez made a choice to move to the United States to pursue a career as a Podiatrist specializing in foot and ankle surgery.After completion of a three year Podiatric Medicine and surgery residency at Jackson North/ University of Miami, Dr. Lopez decided to relocate along with her husband, Dr. Grabowski, to be closer to family. From diabetic care, to complex reconstruction of the foot and ankle, Dr. Lopez’s goal is to always provide her patients with the best possible care. She is very proud to say that her ultimate ambition of giving back to the Dominican Republic was realized with she was able to start a charity in 2004 , which provides foot and ankle reconstruction to the Dominican people with severe foot and ankle deformities. Also note Dr. Lopez has hospital privileges at Swedish Medical Center & Overlake Medical Center, and surgical privileges at Overlake Surgical Center."
