Language Garden, LLC came into being when a very talented educator suddenly became available to focus her energies on working with young children whose families wish them to learn functional Mandarin Chinese.
Our methodology of our Bellevue Montessori school is paired with traditional Montessori techniques to help reinforce language as a natural part of the hands-on learning of other subjects. We focus on traditional Chinese characters and use the Bo Po Mo Fo system of phonetics. As a phonetic system conceived and designed around the actual way that Chinese words are pronounced, it helps children quickly and naturally develop proper pronunciation habits.
Our classrooms were intentionally designed and set up to have a total limit of around 20 students in two different Chinese language classes and 16 students in two different English language classes.
