Ura completed her Master of Science from the New York College of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Mineola, New York. She then earned a doctoral degree in traditional Chinese medicine from the University of Bridgeport in Connecticut. Ura is now board-certified by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM).
Ura’s professional experience includes work in physical therapy and sports rehabilitation. She is also well-versed in trigger point therapy, gastrointestinal disorders, mental/emotional disorders, and interpreting diagnostic imaging.
Through her education and experience, Ura has developed a treatment methodology that incorporates both traditional Chinese medicine and Western medicine. By taking the best of both, she creates customized treatment plans that deliver impressive results for patients.
