A few years ago we set out to design and build a better door. The result is the Deseco Hybrid Wood Garage Door. Our doors are insulated, lightweight and brimming with curb appeal. It begins with our light and rigid EverTrue galvanized steel frame (doesn't warp, twist or buckle) that's filled with highly insulative polyiso foam insulation and sandwiched between a birch interior and rough sawn cedar trimmed exterior. Actually, the exterior is up to you- cedar, pine, fir, mahogany, oak, steel, horizontal windows, vertical windows, no windows- fire up the creative! The best part, your garage stays really warm in the winter and really cool in the summer; as do the rooms adjoining and above the garage. An added benefit, you'll be pushing less heat and cooling into those spaces.
