Deepali Shah, DO, MPH, is Interim Associate Director of Summit Health Hospitalist Medicine at Saint Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston, New Jersey.
Before joining Summit Health, Dr. Shah practiced at Kessler Rehabilitation Institute in West Orange, New Jersey. Dr. Shah also has practiced at Hackensack University Medical Center. She has been a clinical assistant professor at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey - Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in New Brunswick.
Dr. Shah says, "I am passionate about caring for all aspects of my patients' health. I enjoy working with my patients and their families to help them through the recovery process." She adds, "In my opinion, communication and trust between a patient and physician are essential to the healing process."
Dr. Shah is a member of the Society of Hospitalist Medicine, American College of Physicians, and American Association of Physicians of Indian Origin.
When she is not working with her patients, Dr. Shah enjoys cooking, traveling, and spending time with her family.
