Jain Joseph, MD is a member of Summit Health's Plastic Surgery Center team. He joins the team from the Henry Ford Health System in Detroit, MI, where he was Chief Fellow in the Division of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.
Dr. Joseph is an accomplished researcher and teacher in his field, where he provided resident and medical student instruction at Wayne State University School of Medicine. He led research in scar and stretch mark reduction and in novel ways to treat carpal tunnel syndrome and trigger finger. Additionally, he has developed strong expertise in aesthetic and reconstructive breast surgery.
A first-generation Indian-American, Dr. Joseph grew up in Northern New Jersey. He received his undergraduate degree from Rutgers University before attending University of Medicine and Dentistry, New Jersey Medical School to complete his medical degree. After medical school, he completed his general surgery training at Morristown Medical Center, where he served as chief resident.
When he is not seeing patients, Dr. Joseph enjoys fitness and sports. As an avid Yankees and Giants fan, he is pleased to return to the New York metro area.
