Dr. Hegerhorst earned his undergraduate degree from Brigham Young University – Idaho and his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Kansas City University of Medicine and Bioscience. He completed his family medicine residency through Southern Colorado Family Medicine’s Rural Training Track, where he gained extensive experience in providing comprehensive care in rural settings.

When not working, Dr. Hegerhorst can be found hunting, fishing, camping, backpacking, playing the piano or guitar, wood or metalworking or participating in shooting sports.
