Timing is everything and it was exactly how we ended up acquiring Gun Dog House Door ® from the original founder, Carl H. Altenbernd. We just so happened to stop at Carl’s on a return trip from an AKC Horseback Field Trial and before we knew it, Carl mentioned he was looking to retire after more than 25 years of developing the company.
