Eby’s Garage is now in the 2nd generation of ownership and has been family owned and operated for over 30 years! After several years in the mechanics field, Dolyn Eby started his own business in his father’s garage on the Old National Pike west of Hagerstown. In 1982 he purchased a small 2 bay garage in Boonsboro (formerly a Sunoco in the 60’s & then an Amoco) and constructed what is now the current building in 1986. Dolyn’s son Doran pumped gas , did oil changes , tire repair, and odd jobs during the summer and after school. Worked full time on and off, finally coming to stay in 2003. Today he is the owner, and still repairs vehicles, while running a fine tuned repair facility. Grandson Derek has helped with odd jobs as well as light mechanic work while out of school as the 3rd generation of friendly Eby’s.
