Sarah Turner-Pietruszka, MD, DPT, FAAP, CAQSM, is a nonoperative sports medicine physician at Intermountain Health's Bountiful Clinic - Sports Medicine in Bountiful, Utah. She supports patients in Bountiful, North Salt Lake, Woods Cross, and surrounding communities. She has advanced training in pediatric and primary care sports medicine. Her background blends medicine and physical therapy, allowing her expertise in the diagnosis and understanding of movement patterns predisposing individuals to injury. Her use of ultrasound improves diagnostic accuracy.

Dr. Pietruszka enjoys caring for pediatric patients and works well with motivated individuals of any age  who bring a sense of humor to the healing process. Her clinical interests include pediatric injuries throughout the body, adult and overuse injuries, arthritis, and nonoperative management of musculoskeletal conditions.

As a provider, Dr. Pietruszka’s philosophy of care centers on compassion, clinical skill, and evidence‑based medicine. She partners closely with patients to restore function, build resilience, and support a safe return to the activities that matter most to them. Originally from Kingsport, Tennessee, Dr. Pietruszka enjoys spending time on the sidelines or poolside at her children’s sporting events, fitting in early‑morning runs, hiking local trails with her lab mix, Ruby, and listening to great music while tackling the many tasks of busy family life.
