I have owned Lestina's Catering for the past 27 years. Before that I was a cake decorator and manager of a bakery. My whole adult life (actually since my early teens) has been centered on my passion, food. Now in my mid 50's I am switching gears. I want to cook for individuals, families, and people with no time to cook. I also want to satisfy that need for something special, that ethnic food you crave and of course that sweet tooth.
Each week I will offer a couple of healthy, flavorful, well balanced, made from scratch meals for 4, individual meals, a soup (in the winter) and a salad (in the summer) and (maybe not as healthy ) a sweet. Around holidays there will be many specialty foods.
One weekend a month I will have a "Bake Sale" that features sweets such as homemade cakes, pies and cookies as well as my specialty foods such as homemade ravioli, pierogis and kolaches.
