Your choices include the place of celebration, the day of the week and time of day; the musical selection, what prayers will be said and/or songs you’d like sung.
When possible, makeing funeral service arrangements before time of death to avoid making emotional decisions. However if not possible, and a loved one dies one of your first call should be to a funeral director. Some of the services that would be discussed are transporting the body, handling necessary paperwork, helping the family prepare for an appropriate funeral service, helping the family celebrate the life of their loved one, and avoiding grief.
