Dina Kamel, MD
About
Dr. Dina Kamel is a general endocrinologist who practices in Burbank. While she sees patients with all sorts of endocrine and hormone disorders, she has a clinical interest in diabetes, pituitary and thyroid disorders. She believes in educating her patients about their medical conditions so that they can weigh in and help make decisions about their care.
Dr. Kamel was born in Egypt and raised in Los Angeles, where she remained throughout her medical education and training. She earned her medical degree from Loma Linda University School of Medicine and completed her internal medicine residency and endocrinology fellowship training at the University of Southern California. She received her bachelor's degree from Occidental College, where she majored in biology and minored in Spanish literature.
Dr. Kamel is a member of the Endocrine Society, the American Thyroid Association and the American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists.
She is fluent in Arabic and Spanish, and when she's not working, enjoys international travel and learning new languages.
