Meet Dr. Rajbhandary
Board-certified in both rheumatology and internal medicine, Rosy Rajbhandary, MD, sees patients at Rheumatology Clinic of DFW, PLLC in Burleson, Texas. As a rheumatologist, Dr. Rajbhandary diagnoses and treats adults as well as children with rheumatic disease in transition to a pediatric rheumatologist.
Dr. Rajbhandary received her medical degree with a five-year scholarship to Fatima Jinnah Medical College in Lahore, Pakistan. She then completed an internal medicine residency at Saint Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston, New Jersey, where she earned the Barbara Sloan Patient Comfort Award for most compassionate care and was the best teaching resident. Afterward, Dr. Rajbhandary completed a fellowship in rheumatology at Los Angeles County+USC Medical Center, ranked one of the top rheumatology programs in the nation. She also received training in pediatric rheumatology at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles.
Dr. Rajbhandary has written many articles published in major rheumatology journals, is a frequent speaker at medical conferences, and has conducted many clinical research trials. She is a member of the American College of Rheumatology, American College of Physicians, American Medical Associations, International Society for Clinical Densitometry, and certified in performing rheumatological procedures under ultrasound guidance by the Ultrasound School of North American Rheumatologists.
At Rheumatology Clinic of DFW, PLLC, Dr. Rajbhandary treats conditions such as fibromyalgia, gout, scleroderma, Sjogren’s syndrome, rheumatoid arthritis, osteoporosis, osteoarthritis, and lupus. She performs a variety of procedures, including joint drainage, steroid and viscosupplementation injections, and trigger point injections.
She has received recognition for her work, including Top Doc in Fort Worth from 2017-2021, Top Doc in 360 West Magazine in 2020 and 2021, and Super Doctors Rising Stars in 2020 and 2021. Dr. Rajbhandary speaks Urdu, Hindi, and English.
