Mike Harvin joined First Command Financial Services as a Financial Advisor in November 1995, following a 27-year career in the United States Air Force. There, he served as a combat-tested Command Pilot, Air Attach & Execute and a National Defense Fellow. He served in senior positions in the Office of the Secretary of Defense, United States Air Force Intelligence and CENTCOM headquarters.

A graduate of The Ohio State University with a Bachelor of Science degree, and the Naval Postgraduate School with a Master of Arts degree in International Affairs and Central Michigan University with Master of Arts degree in Business Management, Mike holds Series 7, 63, 65 and 26 security licenses plus state life, health and property and casualty insurance licenses. He is a Certified Financial Planner & Trade certificant and a member of the Financial Planning Association.

Mike advocates time-tested financial principles, including disciplined, long-term saving and investing, careful debt management, and a thoughtful insurance strategy to manage financial risk. Through a values-centered approach to financial planning and a client-first philosophy, Mike is committed to helping his clients plan confidently for the future and to accompanying them on their financial journey.

A member of the Burlington Chamber of Commerce, Mike enjoys playing golf, fishing and raising llamas. He is married.
