I'm a hematologist/oncologist with specialized expertise in the care of patients with plasma cell neoplasms, clonal hematopoiesis, myelodysplastic and myeloproliferative syndromes, acute leukemias and both Non-Hodgkin and Hodgkin lymphomas.My research focuses on addressing barriers to oncologic and supportive care, particularly for patients in rural communities. As the Medical Director of our inpatient Hematology/Oncology unit, I have led initiatives to improve transitions of care and expand access to high-quality, timely cancer treatment.I approach patient care with the mindset of treating each person as I would my own family — ensuring their comfort, listening with empathy and building meaningful relationships.
