I've always been passionate about women's issues. In my women's studies program, I did research on caring for women during their pregnancy and labor and felt I could make a difference. I truly feel midwifery is my calling. \n Midwives bring a unique perspective to their patients throughout their pregnancy and during labor and delivery. It's an honor to be part of something so special. \n I try to listen closely to my patients and meet them where they are. I am particularly passionate about pregnant people with mental health concerns and gestational diabetes. \n I moved from Ohio in 2023 to work at Novant Health and our great clinic. My wonderful husband and I have two children. We love going to the beach, exploring our community and building new friendships here and not dealing with snow. I also enjoy reading, crocheting and playing video games as a family.
