LearningRx is a scientifically based cognitive training program that identifies and strengthens the root cause of learning, reading and attention struggles. When all these foundational skills are working together and working well, thinking, learning, reading, remembering, reasoning, and paying attention is easier. To determine the right brain training program for you or someone you love, we need information. We get that information several ways: We complete an evaluation of the symptoms you are experiencing or observing; we conduct a comprehensive case history; and finally, we administer a Cognitive Skills Assessment test at a LearningRx Brain Training Center near you.
History
1986 marked the development of the first training system that can be said to connect directly to modern LearningRx training: VIP (Vision Information Processing). This was one-on-one visual processing training that featured progressive sequencing, feedback, and intense loading. The VIP results represented a major breakthrough in training efficiency. Gains that had taken 18 months using the training available in 1985 were now achieved in only three months--an astounding 600% improvement! Professionals began to take notice. During that time, over 2,000 health professionals were trained in Dr. Gibson's various programs. Behind the scenes, the study, research and discussions continued.In 2000, a reading program was developed to meet the need for reading-specific training. Reading results were amazing. PACE training was enhanced and led to the development of ThinkRx and MathRx. A preschool module called LiftOff followed. LearningRx, has changed the lives of tens of thousands of people!
Meet the Business Owner
Kim Kellan has a background in Educational Services and has helped changed many lives through her passion for providing outstanding service and making sure it is for the right reasons. Prior to her ownership of LearningRx, Kim served as a Vice President of Enrollment for several colleges helping guide both high school kids and career changing adults to their next step in their educational journey. At LearningRx Kim's background in Psychology and knowledge of struggles that come with children that have challenges through her own personal experience being a mom of two boys, Kim speaks to parents from the heart, and truly believes in the mission of wanting to help each and every client that is right for the programs that LearningRx has to offer."
