Our Lady of Providence Regional School in Central Islip is sponsored by the parishes of St. John of God, St. Anne and St. Luke in Brentwood, and St. Peter the Apostle in Islip Terrace, with an 80 year tradition of promoting Christian values. Our students look at the world in a different light. Technology is a focus of OLOP's learning strategies, with 30 iPads, Smart Interactive Whiteboard Systems, and a brand new Computer/Technology Lab. OLOP is in partnership with St. John's University to develop curriculum and methods aligned with the Common Core Standards. We have before and afterschool care, and many after school programs including a drama club, art program, chorus, and STEM program affiliated with New York Institute of Technology.
