Family Martial Arts' mission statement is "Strength, Confidence, and Community Through Martial Arts." In addition to the physical skills we teach, we reinforce these important core values by word and deed. We emphasize discipline, respect, and honor in our actions on and off the mat, at school, home, and in our daily lives. Our schools offer taekwondo and hapkido classes for students of all ages from 4 years old and up. The training is fun, physically challengeing for students at all fitness levels, and our curriculum is comprehensive. Students learn taekwondo forms (poomses), kicks, blocks, stances and Olympic sparring. In tandem with taekwondo, we teach hapkido (Korean self-defense). Hapkido training includes grabs, wrist locks, falls and rolls. The paring of taekwondo and hapkido together gives Family Martial Arts students a full spectrum of martial arts skills. Family Martial Arts also has thriving After School and Summer Camp programs. Our After School program has been running
