I became an audiologist because I’ve always had a strong desire to work with children and support families. Hearing plays such a vital role in communication and development, especially for young children, and I wanted to be part of a profession that helps identify and address hearing challenges early on. Being able to guide families through what can sometimes be a difficult or confusing process, and helping children reach their full potential, is incredibly meaningful to me. My philosophy of care is rooted in a holistic, family-centered approach. I believe that effective care goes beyond just diagnosing and treating hearing loss. It involves understanding each child as a whole person, including their developmental, emotional, and social needs. When I'm not at work, I really enjoy spending time outdoors—whether it's golfing with my husband or going for walks with our dogs. I also love to read.
