My expertise is medical and surgical treatment of retinal diseases including macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, macular holes, vascular occlusions, retinal detachment and inherited retinal diseases. I also specialize in inflammatory conditions of the eye including anterior and posterior uveitis due to autoimmunity and infection. My background in research and was a previously a Howard Hughes Medical Institute Medical Research Fellow. I have authored numerous research papers on both vision science and ophthalmology.
