Captain Bill was ‘spawned’ in the foothills of North Carolina where his passion for fishing took place. Grew up bass fishing on his Grandfather’s farm till the age of 12. Moved to South Florida and the obsession grew. After landing his first Tarpon at the age of 13, he was in it to win it.
After his high school years Captain Bill moved to the mountains of Western North Carolina to pursue a major in Outdoor Education and Wilderness Leadership. In between classes he guided Fly Fishing trips chasing Brook, Brown and Rainbow Trout. Several years after college, Captain Bill headed to Charleston to pursue his love of inshore saltwater fishing.
