Dr. Terence Orme has been in practice in Chattanooga since 1987 beginning in the Emergency Room at Northpark Hospital for 11 years and then in Urgent Care. He is a graduate of Oregon Health Sciences University in Portland, OR, and is a full residency trained general surgeon and anesthesiologist.After medical school and internship, he served as a naval surgeon aboard the USSBN John C. Calhoun 630 (submarine) in the latter days of the Vietnam Conflict. He maintains post-ties with the naval world and together with his son is restoring the USS Highpoint moored on the Columbia River in Astoria, OR.
Before coming to Chattanooga Dr. Orme practiced in the Northwest and Northeast United States and maintains an unblemished record to this day. His wife Lisa serves on board as the clinic Administrator, and Cathy as Office Manager.
Ship-Shape Clinic
2016 saw a complete refit of the clinic as we moved from the Publix shopping center to our own building–the old Silas Marley Restaurant. The building is located next to East Hamilton Dental and across the street from Walgreens and Exxon on E. Brainerd Rd. Our name has changed from Urgent Care Family Medicine to Walk-In Clinic Chattanooga, and the hours have been revised as well to accommodate later evening needs on Tuesday and Thursday. Feel free to stop by and visit our new building and clinic for a tour or office visit with Dr. Orme.
