Flax Art & Frame is the Chicago Loop's only full-service picture framer. Family owned and operated, in 2021 we celebrate our 75th year in business. Our staff of PPFA-certified professional framing designers are amazing problem solvers. We specialize in custom framing, with a huge selection of matting and framing options. We collaborate to design the perfect framing design. We use Chicago Messenger Service for all pickups and deliveries. We also offer curbside drop off and pick up service. Highlights of what we offer: personal and corporate picture framing, canvas stretching & framing, framing of textiles, needlepoint, jerseys, silk scarves, embroidery framing, dry mounting on foam boards and other substrates up to 48 x 96", precision computerized mat cutting up to 40 x 60", The Arakawa Hanging System, shadowbox framing, on-site hanging and installation services. We team with local printers to do turn-key project printing in conjunction with our framing and shipping fulfillment.
