the process for a tub is tedious, first we remove all old silicone or caulk, then its sanded down with a few different grid sizes for the sand paper. all scratches or old paint jobs will be sanded down, or completely stripped to the original form and any holes would be filled in with a formula similar to bondo on vehicles.. then the tub or tile, old surroundings, shower pans, sinks etc. will be washed and scrubbd with an acid wash, with scrub pads designed for the job. the area being worked on will be completely taped off , so mo overspray goes anywhere except out the window with special exhaust sytsems that refinishers use for the entire process. the project will be primed with an very expensive bonding product wiped or sprayed on to cover every inch. then the project will be painted and mess cleaned up immediately, and the project resealed with brand new caulk. GLAZE THAT TUB enjoys your projects and are always extremely grateful for the business. 3 to 4 hour process.
