Dr. Marlene Azar received her Bachelor of Science degree in Neuroscience from University of Michigan, graduating with high distinction. She then went on to earn her medical degree with distinction from Wayne State University School of Medicine, where she was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society. Following an internship in Detroit, she completed her ophthalmology residency at Louisiana State University in New Orleans.
