Heather Bittner Fagan, M.D., MPH, FAAFP, is a practicing physician, faculty member and the associate vice chair for research in Family Community Medicine at Christiana Care. Since 2011, Dr. Fagan has been an associate professor at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia and has made regional and national contributions to research on cancer screenings in primary care and underserved populations. Dr. Fagan is a recipient of the American Cancer Society'sCancer Control Career Development Award, which recognizes and develops national leaders in cancer control and prevention.
