Ms. Secor was born on February 26, 1970 in Harvey, Illinois and graduated from Lawrence North High School in Indianapolis, Indiana. In 1993, she relocated to St. Petersburg, Florida to attend the University of South Florida. In 2000, Ms. Secor graduated from Stetson University College of Law and was admitted to the Florida Bar. After admission to the bar, Ms. Secor has practiced law specifically in the areas of Bankruptcy, Foreclosure and Landlord/Tenant law. She also completed her M.B.A. from Stetson. In January 2005, Ms. Secor moved to Okinawa, Japan with her husband who served the United States Air Force as a Combat Controller and began teaching for UMUC-Asia. Currently, Ms. Secor practices bankruptcy law and also focuses her practice on mortgage loan assistance and debt settlement.
