Cathy Sila MD, FAAN, FAHA, is an internationally recognized vascular neurologist and the Chair of the Department of Neurology at University Hospitals. She is an expert in the prevention and treatment of stroke and neurologic complications of heart disease. As the first woman to chair neurology at University Hospitals, Dr. Sila’s priorities include ensuring access to innovative, high-value care integrated throughout the health system; supporting the provider-patient relationship and experience; training the next generation of vascular neurologists; and promoting research that improves the quality of life for patients with neurologic diseases.
