I chose a career in medicine because I wanted to help others understand how to better care for themselves and live long, healthy, happy lives. I see my role as that of educator as much as clinician. \n My patients say they appreciate my straightforward, direct approach. I like to thoroughly explain the risks and benefits of different treatment approaches and invite the patient to be a full participant in decision making, with my guidance and recommendations. \n I enjoy traveling with my husband and our dogs, spending time at the beach, exploring different racetracks, retail therapy and hanging out with friends and family. I also have a personal passion for animal rescue.
