Robert P. Wooton, DO, specializes in internal medicine.
Dr. Wooten joined New Jersey Physicians in 2008. Until then, he practiced privately in Rutherford from 1998. Dr. Wooten is lead coordinator for the Comprehensive Primary Care Initiative, a Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services - funded project, in Rutherford, New Jersey. He has been an assistant professor and a clinical instructor for the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey - New Jersey Medical School and a physician supervisor for the University Hospital Medical Residency Clinic, both located in Newark.
When he is not working with his patients, Dr. Wooton enjoys spending time with his family, which includes his wife, children, 2 lap dogs, and a few pet birds. He also enjoys traveling and political humor.
