Nicola Hawko is an occupational therapist and clinical lead at the University of Vermont Medical Center. She specializes in falls/balance, geriatrics, and neurologic rehabilitation. She treats patients with conditions such as ALS, brain injuries, concussions, Multiple Sclerosis (MS), Muscular Dystrophy (MD), neurologic movement disorders, Parkinson’s disease, spinal cord injury, and stroke. Her research interests include outcome measures, vision and concussion interventions.Nicola loves working with people and helping them become more functionally independent in areas that are important to them. She strives to provide quality care for people at any stage of their disability.
