CapRock 24-Hour Emergency Care is a fully licensed, fully capable standalone ER facility. Unlike some competitor ERs that are categorized as freestanding, CapRock 24-Hour Emergency Care is a Hospital Out-patient Department (H.O.P.D) of CapRock Hospital, meaning that it has the full support and resources of our larger hospital facility. The same highly experienced emergency physicians and nurses that care for patients at our hospital also care for patients at the 24-hour emergency facility.
