About

It has been an honor and privilege to educate Veterinary Technicians for almost 20 years. After thoughtful consideration, CAVT has made the difficult decision to close the school effective July 1, 2025.

We are proud of the quality graduates who have come through CAVT’s Vet Tech program. CAVT graduates are working in the field in clinics, shelters, schools and research labs across the country. Clinics across the Pikes Peak region sought out CAVT interns, CAVT had close to a 100% placement rate and a pass rate well above the national average for the Veterinary Technology National Exam (a requirement to become a Vet Tech).

Students and graduates of the school can still contact CAVT at 719.219.9636 for information about transcripts.
