Charles Carter, MD, earned his doctor of medicine from the University of South Carolina School of Medicine in Columbia, and is a graduate of the family medicine residency program at Palmetto Health Richland, also in Columbia, where he served as chief resident his final year. Dr. Carter completed a faculty development fellowship at Georgetown University School of Medicine in Washington, DC, is a clinical professor of family medicine at USC and is board certified.
