Wilbur Bassett, M.D., is a board certified hematologist and oncologist who has been working at the John B. Amos Cancer Center since 2000. He has 40 years of professional experience and earned his Medical degree from the Medical College of Georgia. Dr. Bassett completed an Internal Medicine internship and Hematology fellowship at the Medical College of Georgia as well as an Oncology fellowship at the Medical College of West Virginia. He is a member of the Muscogee County Medical Society and the Medical Association of Georgia. Dr. Bassett is married and is a part of the Theta Kappa Psi Medical Fraternity.
